  • First Step to Fix Computer and Printer Issues
Nearly half of all issues can be fixed by rebooting your computer. Computer reboot: A "reboot" means nothing more that turning off your computer, wait about 10 seconds, and turn it back on. If you have a printer issue: Many times, your print que (list of items to print- aka spooler) gets stuck. This means your computer's printer won't print. To fix this turn off your printer, reboot (above), turn your PRINTER back on first, then turn on the computer. This should clear the issue. If it doesn't call our REMOTE help specialist for a remote session. Wireless Printing issues: Reboot everything, turn off the Printer, turn off your router then your computer. Wait 5 minutes then turn on the router, the printer and then the computer. This should resolve many issues. However, wireless connections from a cellphone or mobile device can be tricky. Getting your mobile device to print, or resume printing, may require a reinstallation of the wireless system. In this case call for REMOTE help. • How can I protect my computer from malware?
Protect your computer from malware by installing reputable antivirus software, keeping your operating system and applications updated, avoiding suspicious emails and websites, and regularly backing up your data.
  • What makes our Cyber Security the Best?
We are different because of the way it works. There are three types of virus security systems in the world today. They are blacklist, whitelist and Artificial Intelligence (AI). We use AI to determine if an invasion is possible then mitigate it. Okay, so? The traditional blacklist method of detecting virus and malware attacks relies on matching the file "signatures" contained in a downloadable virus "definition" file that you run against every file on your computer. It tries to match your suspect file against the definition file. If there is a match then you LIKELY have a virus, Trojan, ransomware, etc. So, what's wrong with that? Well, several things, first is the download. The download file contains over 1 BILLION signatures that are defined virus. This takes time and you can't work until it's done. Second, your computer must scan and compare the files in the definition file against over 1 BILLION files, growing at 560 thousand every day. Lastly, when there is a match, you are usually asked what to do with the infected file. Quarantine it, delete it, or ignore it. The wrong answer can crash your computer. Then there is a whitelist. The lamest of them all. You tell the computer what constitutes a virus. Really. Good luck trying to determine what is and what is not a virus. No definition files, no clues, you make the call. Terrible. That brings us to AI. It looks at the application (app/program) you are running and thinks about what it should be doing, and if it's not doing it within the perimeters of the app/program then it is an infection, virus, malware, ransomware, etc. and AI mitigates it, kills it before it has time to deliver its payload. Done, no scans, no downloads, no decisions to make, and it won't slow your computer down while working. It works 24/7/365 every second of every day it's protecting you.\ What is this technology marvel? SentinelOne EDR. Exclusive through CUSA Care, US Made, Local Support.
